Design: Total RNA was extracted from the venom duct of a single Californiconus californicus individual. We constructed a cDNA library using a TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit and assigned index3 (from the kit) to this sample. We sequenced this library on 1/12th of an Illumina HiSeq 2000 lane with paired-end reads along with 11 other cone snail venom duct cDNA libraries at the Vincent J. Coates Genomics Sequencing Laboratory at UC Berkeley.
